If you aren't participating in our programs and
outreach you are missing much of what God's Church is all about. |
Laughs
galore at our Christmas program:
Our children were amazing as they performed for the
congregation. And who can forget Jared's and Kenneth's
performances and, well, see for yourself!

Blood Drive:
As usual, Fairview came through with the help of A/O
school and our neighbors. There were 28 units of blood collected
to help fill the critical shortage. Our thanks to all who
participated in this important outreach of our church and community.
Thanksgiving Dinner:
The
Fairview family not only worships together but enjoys the annual
Thanksgiving dinner sponsored by the United Methodist Men. There
was turkey, Ham, Sweet potatoes, green beans, dressing, deviled eggs
,cranberry sauce, and of course, pumpkin pie.
Our church is spruced up:
 Nineteen
members turned out for a big cleanup that resulted in a sparkling
kitchen, clean windows and beautiful grounds.
Trick or Trunk:
Parker and Andrea, or should I say the lion and the
Indian Princess, compare treats at Fairview's Trick or Trunk. This
was a great success for children of the entire neighborhood.
A/O Teacher's breakfast:
Fairview
showed it's community spirit again this year by hosting the teachers
meeting f or
the beginning of school. A breakfast of sausage, eggs, bacon,
fruit and coffee seemed to be enjoyed by everyone. Jared presented
a trunk full of school supplies donated by our bible school.
Mission trip:
July 24-27 the youth participated in mission by joining in the
Loaves and Fishes Faith in Action program helping to repair homes and building
wheelchair ramps. They also hosted a Vacation Bible School for
children in need.
