Our inspired worship services are brought by a Holy Spirit filled young Pastor, Jared Hanson, at 11:00 am each Sunday.  Other opportunities for adults include Sunday School starting with a devotional assembly at 9:45 am.  Then separate classes begin at 10:00 for college age, for young adults and for seniors.  We have active "United Methodist Women" and "United Methodist Men" groups who serve our church and our community.  There are three women's circles for service and social events.

Fairview church and its members are active in supporting the Food Ministry of the Allied Churches of Alamance County, the Loaves and Fishes Christian Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, the Manna Ministry for support of the Hispanic community.  We also contribute to the ministry of the Red Bird Mission for support of Appalachian ministry, the Methodist Home for Children, ZOE Ministry to support African children that are facing starvation and others.

Our church also provides financial support for Elaine Mathewson's Mission trip to Dominican Republic each year, in conjunction with "Healing the Children."  They provide free surgery and medicine for disabled and disfigured children.
